Robert Davi, who played Jake Fratelli in *The Goonies*, expressed concern that his conservative political views, including support for Donald Trump, might prevent him from being part of the upcoming sequel. The film, set to begin production 40 years after the original, is produced by Steven Spielberg. Davi hopes his beliefs won't hinder his involvement, while other original cast members, such as Ke Huy Quan, have shown interest in returning.
