Gregory Afoko files fresh bail application after 9 years on remand

Gregory Afoko has filed his third bail application after nine years on remand, accused of conspiring with Asabke Alangdi to murder Adams Mahama in 2015. The application, filed on February 17, 2025, is set to be heard on February 21. In April 2024, a jury found Alangdi guilty but acquitted Afoko on some charges with a 4-3 verdict. The case involves the formation of a youth group and an attack on Mahama.
