Grooming alert as survey finds 63% of Hong Kong pupils face online sexual advances

Police warn that teenagers who start using social media at a young age run a higher risk of being approached.

A police survey in Hong Kong found that 63.5% of secondary school students reported receiving online sexual advances. Police reported 10 online grooming cases in January and February, two resulting in rape, with the youngest victim being 12. The police warned that early social media use increases risk and online grooming can lead to offline sexual assault.
