Growing calls for independent probe into Air India crash as investigators focus attention on pilots

Investigators are yet to settle on a cause for the crash but are leaning in the direction of either human error or deliberate action by pilots rather than a mechanical fault despite allegations that the aircraft was flawed from the moment it entered service in India. Alisha Rahaman Sarkar reports
