The visit occurred shortly before Vladimir Putin reportedly agreed to temporarily halt attacks after a phone call with Donald Trump, a commitment that was seemingly short-lived. DTEK, the energy company that owns the visited factory, reports numerous attacks, worker casualties, and extensive damage to Ukraine's energy infrastructure since Russia's invasion. Ukraine has retaliated with drone attacks on Russian oil refineries.
