Holocaust survivor, 87, questioned by police after laying flowers at Trafalgar Square during Gaza protest
87-year-old Holocaust survivor Stephen Kapos was questioned by police after laying flowers at a Gaza protest in Trafalgar Square on January 18th to commemorate Palestinian deaths. He was among nine people called in for questioning regarding alleged breaches of Public Order Act conditions during the demonstration, where 77 people were arrested. Kapos, supported by other Holocaust survivors and descendants, affirmed his commitment to protesting for peace in Gaza.
