The House of Representatives advanced the censure of Rep. Al Green (D-TX) after his disruptive behavior during President Donald Trump's joint session address. Green was removed by the Sergeant at Arms after refusing to follow decorum. Speaker Mike Johnson interrupted Trump's speech to warn members about maintaining decorum, leading to Green's removal. Rep. Dan Newhouse introduced a resolution to censure Green, which passed 211-209, moving forward with the censure.
