Ramadan Adenola, a 21-year-old man, alleges that Nigeria Police Force officers extorted ₦150,000 from him and a coworker during a stop-and-search in Lagos. After being stopped, searched, and taken to Isheri Police Station, officers demanded ₦2 million for their release after finding his Binance app. He negotiated down to ₦100,000, but another officer pressured him to send more money after seeing funds in his Binance and Trust Wallet apps.
