On March 20, 2025, Huawei launched the Pura X foldable smartphone, featuring a 6.3-inch display and starting at 7,499 yuan ($1,037). It's the first smartphone with HarmonyOS 5, Huawei's fully Chinese OS. The new OS reportedly doesn't use Android open-source code, and the Pura X includes the Xiaoyi AI assistant and allows eye-tracking for page scrolling.
