American tourist Stephen Termini, 58, was seriously injured in a 2023 Dublin assault by a teenage gang, resulting in brain injuries, seizures, ruptured spinal discs requiring surgery and titanium rods, and ongoing pain. Termini hopes to obtain Irish citizenship to access Ireland's healthcare system due to high US costs. Three teenagers have been sentenced for their involvement in the attack.
