John and Yuuki Blakeney renovated their 1960s Dublin bungalow to incorporate a Japanese aesthetic, featuring elements like a genkan, wooden continuity between inside and outside, a round "window of enlightenment," and space-saving shelves. The renovation, completed in six months, involved selecting materials and colors to create a calm ambience, with design choices influenced by the couple's time living in Japan.
