Iconic Las Vegas Strip landmark that has delighted visitors for nearly 40 years is to be torn down

A longstanding landmark on Las Vegas' world-famous strip is set to be pulled down this year. 



The rotunda at Caesar's Palace, a Las Vegas Strip landmark built in 1986, will be demolished this year after being out of use for a decade. This follows other recent closures in Las Vegas, including the Mirage hotel and the musical "Jersey Boys."
