In memoriam: On Nov. 24, 2001, Trooper Hans Roelle was shot and killed while attempting to rescue two children during a domestic disturbance in Wasilla. Trooper Roelle was a 17-year veteran of the Alaska State Troopers and was 40 years old when he was  facebook.com
