Industries chimiques du Sénégal : l’État interdit de Conseil d’administration et privé de 192 milliards F CFA

The Senegalese state is barred from the board of directors of Industries Chimiques du Sénégal (ICS) and is owed 192 billion CFA francs. ICS has not paid royalties for over 20 years, and the debt, which was 121.5 billion CFA francs between 2000-2019, continues to increase. The agreement binding the state to ICS is under review. ICS is the only mining company that has refused to welcome a representative of the Société des mines du Sénégal (Somisen) to its board.
