Yarden Bibas delivered an emotional speech during the burial of his family, who were killed in Gaza. The remains of Shiri Bibas and her two young sons, Ariel and Kfir, were handed over to Israel. Thousands attended a funeral march and the burial. Yarden expressed sorrow and love for his family, apologizing for not protecting them. The children were 9 months and 4 years old, and their mother held dual German and Israeli citizenship. Hamas claims the family was killed by Israeli airstrikes, while Israeli forensics concluded they were murdered by Hamas. The event is considered one of the saddest since the 2014 Israel-Gaza conflict.
