Israel threatens to annex parts of Gaza, expand its security zone, and intensify military operations unless Hamas releases the remaining hostages. They have instructed the IDF to capture additional areas, and have begun operations in Rafah while continuing activity elsewhere. The IDF has launched "extensive" strikes against Hamas and Prime Minister Netanyahu has stated there will be no ceasefire negotiations until the release of the hostages.
