A group of Israeli politicians, including members of Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party, urged Australian Coalition MPs to abandon Australia's two-state policy on Israel and Palestine in a letter distributed at an event in Parliament House. The letter, signed by eight members of the Knesset, was addressed to Queensland LNP backbencher Andrew Wallace and argued that dropping the two-state solution would benefit both Australia and Israel, citing the October 7th attacks.
