Telecom companies in Croatia, including A1, Hrvatski Telekom (HT), and Telemach, are increasing their prices by 3% under the index clause, effective April 1st for A1 and March 1st for HT. This marks the third consecutive year of such increases, with past hikes ranging from 5% to 8.5%. Telemach is expected to follow suit. The index clause allows annual price adjustments based on the official inflation rate, set by the Croatian State Statistical Office. Only monthly subscription fees are affected, while other services remain unchanged. Customers retain their discounts, and the companies justify the hikes to cover operational costs and invest in infrastructure and customer experience.
