A judge made a decision in the case of American student Joshua Riibe, the last person seen with missing spring breaker Sudiksha Konanki in the Dominican Republic. Riibe is no longer under police watch, but could be stuck there for another 10 days. He is not a suspect in Konanki's disappearance, and her parents believe she likely drowned. Riibe's lawyer requested his liberty be restored, stating he is a victim and arguing it's absurd to claim he's free to go when authorities have his passport. Riibe claims Konanki's mother hugged and thanked him for helping her daughter before her disappearance.
