Kirkcudbright History Society members attended a presentation by Helen Bowick, "Kirkcudbright Shops Through Time," showcasing the town's shops past and present, particularly on St Mary Street. The presentation highlighted the vibrancy of the town's commercial past and the importance of supporting current shops and documenting everyday life for future generations. The Society will continue activities over the summer with guided tours.
