KRA’s New Automated Payment Plan Lets Taxpayers Pay Dues in Instalments

The Kenya Revenue Authority has introduced a new Automated Payment Plan aimed at easing the financial burden on taxpayers struggling to clear outstanding tax liabilities. Starting November 7, 2025, the APP allows the eligible taxpayer to pay the principal tax, penalties, and interest in structured monthly instalments over a six-month period rather than as a lump sum. The initiative is part of KRA’s sustained efforts to enhance compliance and convenience in tax administration.
