Depuis 2012, la photographe bretonne arpente le monde des raves clandestines pour « donner à voir » cette communauté festive méconnue, à rebours des clichés d’excès ou de violence qui collent à l’imaginaire collectif.
Breton photographer Julie Hascöet has been documenting free parties since 2012, aiming to capture the reality of this misunderstood community and counter negative stereotypes through her photographs. Her project "Murs de l'Atlantique," exhibited in 2022, features images of landscapes, portraits of partygoers, and the ephemeral infrastructure of these events, captured in film. Hascöet notes an increasing repression of free parties by authorities.
