The settlers, some armed, threw stones at his house and beat him before handing him over to the Israeli military. Activists say Israeli police did not intervene. The IDF stated a violent confrontation occurred after Palestinians threw rocks at Israelis, leading to mutual rock-hurling and arrests of both Palestinians and an Israeli civilian.
