Le Premier ministre François Bayrou a tenté de mettre de l’ordre dans son gouvernement, en réunissant ce mardi ses ministres qui s’opposent sur le port du voile dans le sport. Fustigeant les critiques internes, il a toutefois donné raison au ministre de la Justice.

Élisabeth Borne and other ministers have expressed reservations. Prime Minister François Bayrou convened ministers to address the conflict, but the issue remains contentious. The Senate-approved bill is supported by the right wing of the government, but faces opposition from others.
