The Federal Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe rejected urgent appeals against the convocation of the old Bundestag after the final results of the Bundestag election were announced. The party previously failed in court to force a recount before the final result was determined. The party prevented "that the uncovered election campaign promises for high earners are financed at the expense of the general public on credit" through the agreement with the CDU/CSU and SPD. CSU-Landesgruppenchef Alexander Dobrindt thanked the Greens for constructive discussions.
