Llanharan and Cynon Valley road schemes to get share of £9m funding next year

Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) will allocate £9.15m in 2025/2026 for transport infrastructure, including £5.05m for the Llanharan Sustainable Transport Corridor and £1.14m for the A465 Cynon Gateway. Other allocations include £1.2m for the completed A4119 dualling, £384,000 for the Gelli/Treorchy link road review, and £500,000 for the park and ride program. The council has also submitted bids for Welsh Government funding for the Cynon Gateway and additional park and ride facilities.
