Loan switch gamble, more injury hell and flop finally scores

Nineteen players left the Bluebirds in some capacity over the course of the last two transfer windows and here is how they got on

Nineteen players have left Cardiff City this season, with seven departing on loan. Joel Adotey, an attacking midfielder, scored nine goals on loan at Cheltenham Town before being loaned to Exeter City, testing his ability in League One. Ivorian forward Tsunoda, loaned from Hertha Berlin, struggled in Wales and returned to Germany, later moving to KV Kortrijk but facing injury setbacks. Adams, a former Manchester United academy player, joined Sligo Rovers after limited appearances for Cardiff. Wintle, a 27-year-old loaned to Millwall, has struggled to make an impact. Evans, a Cardiff academy product, has played 30 games for Newport County in League Two.
