Local officials in China told to use DeepSeek AI to help them make decisions

City governments have been told to embrace the model, which recently sent shock waves through the US tech sector.

Local officials in China have been instructed to use DeepSeek AI to aid in decision-making. Cities such as Zhengzhou, Henan, Laibin, Guangxi, and Foshan, Guangdong have implemented these guidelines, with officials emphasizing the use of AI for decision support, analysis, and problem-solving.
