When Jessica Lorimer’s doctor sat her down and told her that she was suffering from multiple sclerosis her life changed forever. Not only would she have to cope with the multiple symptoms of the chronic disease, but she would also have to rethink her lifestyle completely.
Jessica, originally from Ireland and working in London, relocated to Southampton and then North Yorkshire with her husband due to his army posting. She prefers the community-focused, slower pace of life in North Yorkshire compared to London, finding the people more direct and the environment beneficial to her well-being. The couple is now looking to permanently settle in Yorkshire.
