Coastal areas could see gusts of up to 70mph
London is set to experience unseasonably warm weather, with temperatures reaching 16°C, while the rest of the UK faces high winds and rain. Yellow wind and rain warnings have been issued for much of the UK, with exposed areas expecting gusts of up to 70mph and rainfall of 30-40mm in parts of Scotland, with up to 70mm on higher ground. The warnings are in place for Friday and Sunday, as the weather transition begins on Thursday. Only London and the south of England will remain mainly dry with the odd shower.
