Stéphane Plaza, the French TV personality, has been sentenced to 12 months of prison with a suspended sentence for domestic violence against a former partner. He was acquitted of charges of psychological violence against another partner. M6, the TV network, has announced the cancellation of all shows featuring Plaza following his conviction. The court ordered Plaza to pay €5,000 for physical harm, €3,000 for psychological harm, and €3,000 for legal fees to one of his former partners. Plaza, who has denied the allegations, broke down in tears during the court proceedings and plans to appeal the verdict.
