Prime Minister Mark Carney called a federal election for April 28th after dissolving Parliament. Carney outlined his Liberal campaign, including addressing inter-provincial trade and reversing some Liberal policies. Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre criticized Carney's leadership and questioned his ability to manage trade relations. Carney will run in Nepean after a nomination controversy. He also will not participate in the TVA debate.
