Menopausal women spending average £1,800 a year to combat symptoms

Menopausal women in the UK spend an average of £1,800 annually on products to alleviate symptoms, with skincare treatments being the most expensive category at £244 per year. Other significant expenses include skincare products (£179), supplements (£147), vitamins (£120), and hormone support (£105). The survey, conducted by Clearpay, found that 25% of women use sleep aids such as aromatherapy and weighted blankets, with sales of sleep trackers increasing by 303%, aromatherapy by 263%, and weighted blankets by 32%. However, 29% of women reported feeling overwhelmed by menopausal expenses, and 24% struggled to find reliable information on suitable products.
