Migrant smugglers dressed as Border Patrol agents are captured as Trump's crackdown reduces flood of illegals to a trickle

The Arizona border city that was once a hotbed for illegal crossings at the height of the nation's crisis in 2022, is now a ghost town as Trump's hardline immigration policies take effect.

Migrant smugglers, including two Americans and a Mexican, were apprehended in Yuma, Arizona, for impersonating Border Patrol agents to smuggle 24 migrants. They used a modified vehicle and fake uniforms as part of their scheme. President Trump's policies have significantly reduced illegal crossings, with Yuma seeing a drastic decline from 1,500 daily migrants to a trickle under his administration. The border has been secured with measures like razor wire and a solar-powered gate, and expulsions of migrants have increased.
