Omar Wilson, 32, has been found guilty of murdering Mussie Imnetu, a chef who had worked under Gordon Ramsay and Marcus Wareing. The incident occurred near Notting Hill Carnival, where Imnetu, 41, was heavily intoxicated and died later in the hospital. Wilson, who claimed self-defense, was seen on CCTV footage headbutting Imnetu, leaving him dying in the street. Wilson then went clubbing at Ministry of Sound. The jury deliberated for over 22 hours and found him guilty by a majority of 10 to 2. Wilson admitted to jurors, "There's a monster in me," and claimed he acted out of fear, believing Imnetu had a broken bottle. Imnetu was described as a loving husband, father, and respected chef who was in London to help train colleagues.
