Feces are leaking from manholes on Sljeme (Medvednica mountain), endangering drinking water sources. Despite a new drainage system, sewage continues to flow down the slopes, causing unpleasant odors and pollution, reported by visitors for the last 3 years. The Park of Nature Medvednica confirms that the internal waste water system has not been cleaned. The inspectorate requires connection to the public drainage system and 11 facilities have submited requests for connection but not all connected yet. The water company is temporarily removing waste water to resolve the issue.
