Nigeria’s National Assembly amended the 2025 budget, reducing capital expenditure by N524 billion and increasing recurrent expenditure by the same amount, leaving the total budget unchanged at N54.990 trillion. The revised budget now allocates N23.44 trillion for capital expenditure and N13.59 trillion for recurrent expenditure.
