Nevada woman used Tinder to lure older men into deadly, cross

Officials believe more victims of alleged scam may still be in U.S. and are seeking information

A 43-year-old woman from Las Vegas, Aurora Phelps, is accused of using dating apps like Tinder to entrap victims in a high-stakes romance scam. She allegedly used sedatives to incapacitate her targets, stealing their belongings, draining their finances, and even transporting one victim across the U.S.-Mexico border, where he later died. Federal charges include wire fraud, identity theft, and kidnapping resulting in death. Three fatalities are linked to her scheme, with Phelps charged in connection with one death. Her victims spanned various demographics, including elderly individuals and women.
