The Manitoba government outlined major spending increases on capital projects and a mix of tax measures in its annual budget tabled Thursday.
The Manitoba 2025 budget includes increased capital spending, a four percent fuel tax allocation to municipalities, payroll tax reduction for businesses via raised thresholds, a freeze on personal income tax bracket adjustments for inflation, expansion of the free birth control program, a $100 increase to the homeowner tax credit, and a new security system rebate for small and medium-sized businesses.
