The EFCC boss, Olanipekun Olukoyede, highlighted that Nigerians often view governance as a means to accumulate wealth, contributing to high corruption levels. Stakeholders at the 38th Anti-Corruption Situation Room emphasized the need for collaboration, ethics, and integrity. The ICPC Chairman proposed a three-pronged strategy: enforcement, prevention, and public enlightenment. Akintunde Sawyerr of NELFUND stressed the role of technology in preventing corruption, aligning with President Tinubu's initiatives. Femi Falana underscored the importance of public involvement, particularly in rural areas, while Olanrewaju Suraju noted the challenge of political will in enforcing existing anti-corruption laws. Civil society, media, and public pressure were highlighted as crucial for accountability.
