Now scrap triple whammy hobbling employers like us, writes Currys' chief executive ALEX BALDOCK

Three million people of working age are out of work because of poor mental or physical health, up a million since the pandemic.



Currys CEO Alex Baldock urges the UK government to scrap the "triple whammy" of National Insurance hikes, business rates increases, and guaranteed hours in the Employment Rights Bill, arguing they hinder retailers' ability to hire and help get people back to work, especially the three million of working age currently out of work due to health issues.
