The Slovak Ministry of Transport has postponed the launch of the Bratislava-Košice flight route from March to the end of October. Initially planned for March, the route will now begin in October due to challenges faced by airlines in meeting the original timeline. Five airlines expressed interest, but they cited insufficient time and market conditions as reasons for not being able to start the service as planned. The ministry adjusted the bidding process, extending the submission deadline to summer, with the winning carrier set to commence operations in October. The route will operate four times weekly, with one-way ticket prices set at 80 euros without luggage and 90 euros with luggage.
