One of Toronto's best hotels is transforming into something new

Toronto's Bisha Hotel will be changing its name following a sale to new owners less than a decade after the property welcomed its first guests.Sunray Group agreed to purchase the property in the closing weeks of 2024 with the intent to close the deal during the first quarter of 2025. That deal has since closed, and Sunray has officially taken ownership of the new hotel.Sunray Group will be rebranding the property into a Marriott Luxury Collection hotel, marking  Canada's first hospitality property under that banner.Bisha was built by Lifetime Developments in partnership with nightclub king Charles Khabouth's Ink Entertainment.
