Panthers’ Aaron Ekblad suspended 20 games for violating NHL’s performance
Aaron Ekblad of the Florida Panthers has been suspended for 20 games without pay for violating the NHL's performance-enhancing drug policy. Ekblad stated he made a mistake by taking something to help recover from injuries without consulting medical personnel. He will miss the remainder of the regular season and the first two playoff games. He is the first NHL player suspended for PEDs since 2018 and faces mandatory evaluation and possible treatment.
