Pope Francis is scheduled to appear in public on Sunday for the first time in five weeks, giving a blessing from his hospital room window while recovering from bilateral pneumonia. He was admitted to the hospital on February 14th and has only been seen once since, in a photo released by the Vatican. He will greet and bless those gathered outside the hospital around noon on Sunday. He has not been able to perform the weekly noon prayer in St. Peter's Square since February 9th.
