Due to a measles surge in the London region, London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) is restricting visitors at Children's Hospital and its Women's Care program. Only one parent/caregiver is allowed per patient, and they must provide proof of measles immunity (MMR vaccination certificate, birth before 1970, or bloodwork) or wear an N95 mask. Siblings and other visitors are barred. Similar restrictions apply to the Women's Care program, and patients with possible measles exposure or symptoms are advised to reschedule. These measures aim to prevent outbreaks at the facilities.
