New owners, led by Jarret Stuart, are continuing Highwood Distillers' legacy of fine whisky in High River. Stuart, whose great-great-grandfather introduced Macallan Scotch whisky to Canada, founded Caldera Distilling and later purchased Highwood Distillers. He aims to produce farm-to-bottle whisky using local ingredients.
