The Appointments Committee of Parliament will from today hold public hearings to vet President John Mahama’s nominees for various ministerial positions.
Parliament will begin vetting President John Mahama’s nominees for deputy minister positions today, with the Appointments Committee holding public hearings. The 13 nominees, along with Lydia Lamisi Akanvariba as Minister of State for Public Sector Reforms, were selected based on their expertise and alignment with the government’s goals. The process is expected to be transparent, as assured by the Appointments Committee Chair, Bernard Ahiafor.
