Not every change in circumstances will affect your entitlement to PIP or see payments paused.
PIP (Personal Independence Payment) and ADP (Adult Disability Payment) provide financial support to individuals with long-term health conditions needing assistance with daily living or mobility. Claimants do not need to report changes like starting/leaving a job, changing roles, or claiming other benefits. However, they must report changes to personal details, condition, needed help, hospital/care home admission, going abroad for over four weeks, or imprisonment to avoid penalties. Existing PIP claimants in Scotland must still report changes to the DWP until transferred to the Social Security Scotland IT system. Contact the PIP enquiry line for any changes.
