Petronas meterai dua kontrak perkongsian pengeluaran di luar pantai Sabah

Petronas has signed two new Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs) for offshore areas in Sabah, involving a consortium of companies including INPEX, Petronas Carigali, and SMJ Energy. This brings the total number of PSCs under the 2024 Malaysia Bid Round (MBR 2024) to 14, involving 12 different operators. The contracts cover 11 discovered resource opportunities (DROs) and three exploration blocks.
Petronas also signed Technical Evaluation Agreements (TEAs) with seven major oil companies for two basins, demonstrating commitment to developing hydrocarbon resources. The MBR 2025 was announced, offering new exploration blocks and DRO clusters, emphasizing Malaysia's role as a leading energy hub.
The launch of MBR 2025 highlights strategic efforts to enhance Malaysia's energy capabilities and attract investments, underscoring its appeal as a top destination for upstream oil and gas investment.
